PAUNAWA: hoy. kunwari lang 2 a. kunwariang HEARING lang yung nangyari kahapon.
To our honorable Vice Mayor, Ganda BOF, fellow government officials, students, honorable guests, a pleasant morning to all.
Strawberries are one of the most talk about product when the tourist go here in Baguio City. It is sweeter when its ripe and ready to eat. Others, they pick it up and make jams and other products made of strawberries.
Since last week, some farmers were coming to my office and ask me if I can have a resolution regarding on this issue. One time, I realized that its better to come up with the resolution on having this strawberry farms will become the source of living of the residence here. And the problem is that, nauubusan na ng strawberries ang nasabing bukirin dahil sa patuloy na pag-iimport ng mga mangangalakal na dumarayo sa Baguio. Sa tingin ko, kailangan na nilang limitahan ang pagkuha ng maramihang strawberries at makatikim ang ibang turistang dumarayo rito.
Sa ngayon, nagiging in-demand na ang ating mga strawberries sapagkat halos isang daang kaing na ng strawberries ang ating inaangkat mula dito sa Baguio hanggang sa ibang bansa. Ang tingin tuloy ng ating mga mahal na magsasaka, ninanakaw na ang kanilang ikinabubuhay. Dito lamang sila kumukuha ng kanilang panggastos sa araw-araw nilang buhay.
I, Councilor Amber, has this resolution regarding on scarcity of strawberries here in our town. Ipapanukala ko na sa bawat isang taong darayo sa Baguio, lilimitahan natin sa isang basket mula sa isang kaing ang pagkuha at pagpitas ng mga strawberries sa halagang hindi bababa sa tatlumpung piso.
Makakatulong ang panukalang ito upang paangatin ang ating lokal na ekonomiya lalo na’t ito lamang ang ikinabubuhay ngayon ng ating mga magsasaka na katuwang natin upang paangatin ang industriyang ito.
Kung hindi natin maaaksyunan ang problemang ito sa ating bayan, chances are, our strawberry industry will fall down. Pwedeng mawala ang kanilang ikabubuhay at mapipilitan silang makipagsapalaran sa ibang bayan.
Paano na ang ating ekonomiya kung wala ang mga magsasaka? Are you doing such actions regarding on this strawberry scarcity issue? Kung wala ang mga magsasaka at ang strawberry farm sa Baguio, we have the worst local economy now. Hindi aangat ang turismo natin kung hindi dahil sa ating mga produkto.
Kaya’t ang sinumang sasaway sa panukalang ito ay magbabayad ng multa mula isang daan libo hanggang limandaang libong piso o pagkakakulong ng anim na buwan hanggang isang taon.
To my fellow local government officials, we must do such actions for us to impose this resolutions. And for that, I end my speech. Thank You.

Third Year 1st Semester Week 3: Under Quarantine..
huwaat?
here’s the story goes..
right after my class kei sir parayno,
I usually went to our room to wait for our teacher.
but honestly, marcy and my other korean classmate is there.
we just waiting for miss wood to come.
several minutes later,
miss wood walk in to our class.
i greeted her and ask her kung bakit wala yung mga kaklase namin now?
and she told us nga na,
may nagpositive daw sa swine flu sa klase namin.
and i began to scream.. “huwaaaat?!”
after that conversation,
we went to the adsa office for the verification.
and nalaman ko nga na its true.
they ended up with giving of our numbers and our emails to them.
para naman ma-email nila sa amin yung mga lessons na mami-miss namin.
right after dat, nung pauwi ako,
tinext ko na kaagad yung mga blockmates ko.
pati den pala yung mga 1st year na EPM, under quarantine na den.
and after that same matter,
i texted miss fortez and sir guioguio regarding on this matter.
ang sabi ko, hahabulin ko na lang yung mamimiss ko na lessons.
kei miss sarah naman,
ipapasa ko thru email yung introduction ko, yung research topic at research question ko.
so, kamusta naman ang pagbababad ko sa bahay ng 10 days.
edi eto, nakatunganga at tatapusin ang intro sa research.
almost one paragraph pa lang nagagawa ko.
target date to pass this thru email, thursday night..
itataga ko yan sa bato! haha!
tapos ko na yung assignment e.
scan na lang ang kailangan doon, 
ayun lang.
mamimiss ko ang mc.. kaso, 10 days lang.
sa mga subjects pala na handle ni miss de borja,
wala kayong klase sa kanya ‘coz she’s under quarantine too.

> ayun. haha. second week fever. sa wakas. naging regular class na den kami! ang nakakabadtrip, ayun, free cut/wala kaming klase from 10:30-12. may sakit daw si Ginang Wood. haha. imbes na 1hr and 30mins. ang break ko, 3hours pa. langya talaga. kakapikon.
> nakilala ko den yung classmate ng kapatid ko sa sm taytay. mukha naman siyang mabait. haha. well, haha. cool siya a. di naman sha mukhang masama.
June 17, ’09 — WEDNESDAY
> this is the 1st shocking revelation that i heard from them. yung CARTOGRAPHY professor nila, aba… ka-apelyido ko. her name is Architect Maricel Rubio-Paringit. ow.. emm.. ghee.. so.. kamusta naman yun. kung last week, tinanong ni sir Parayno kung kaanu-ano ko si Engr. Enrico Paringit, yung professor ng Engineering sa UP, ngayon naman, aba. saan ang province nung cartography professor nila?. parang gusto ko siyang makilala! haha.
>WTF! hindi na-approve ang research topic ko ni miss sarah! shet talaga! kakabwiset!
> speaking of that day, aba. 9pm na ako nakauwi ng bahay. tae.. naglakad kami from Katipunan to Anonas. oh di ba? hahaha. and then Melai and I go to LRT para sumakay patungong Santolan. after that, sinubukan naming maglakad from Santolan to Ligaya. Take note, there is this one jeep na pinasakay kami. sobrang thankful kami ni Melai! after an hour na paglalakad, aba, hulog ng langit si kuya! haha! thanks talaga sa accompany nila!

>aba. eto matindi. nasa miriam ako ng mga 7am. i need to charge my cellphone because lowbat ako. after that, pumunta na ako ng MMJ 309 by 8:45. nalaman ko na lang kay ate anne na wala kaming EPC 101. tae. extended. kakabwiset kasi madadagdagan yung pag-aantay ko. what i did was to go to the cafeteria. nakita ko yung mga BA friends ko. sina Cha, Grace at si Anjelica. dumating ang 10:30, juice meh! free cut den! waa. kawawa nga yung iba kong kaklase kasi yun lang ang subject nila. so, from 7:00am to 1:30pm akong magaantay! wulah! kung ganoon den lang naman, e di sana, umuwi na lang ako.
> first lab namin for the semester. nairita ako kasi parang mali yung result nung experiment namin sa group namin. akala ko nga may quiz e. yun yung sabi ni ms. de borja. alam niyo, kasama ko lang si Grace ’till 1:30. ang matindi, andami kong nakain. haha. tama ba naman kasi yung pag-absent nila di ba? ilang oras akong nag-intay… 7:00.. 8:00.. 9:00.. 10:00.. 11:00.. 12:00.. 1:00.. 1:30.. almost 6hrs and 30 minutes akong nasa MC na wala man lang nangyayari sa akin. buti na lang sinamahan ako ni Grace from 12-1:30. we had a good time last thursday. sa totoo lang, nag-enjoy kami sa food doon sa may tindahan malapit sa sakayan ng trike. )

> after that, we went to Josine’s Pad sa may Sikatuna Village. We ate lunch there and after that, we went to Quezon City Hall. Dun sa may environmental planning division. and there, nalaman namin na ang head nila doon ay Alumni ni EPM. She’s Ms. Andrea Andres-Po. haha. actually balak kong mag-OJT doon. ang kaso, i want to have my OJT in GreenPeace Philippines. haha! )

JUNE 9, 2009 (Tuesday..)
>> tae! unang araw pa lang ng klase, anim lang kami sa room. sina ate xcel, ate kakay, ate karel, adi, ate anne at ako lang ang nandoon. to the mere fact na aalis na si ate anne dis sem, malalagasan na naman kami ng isa. so 5 na lang kami. kamusta naman yung klase namin kei Dr. Parayno di ba? bunutan MODE kami. he gave us one question and we will answer it to the last day of the semester. wooh! 
>> second class, Chemistry Lecture. tae. haha. sobrang WILD ng mga kaklase ko. may isa akong kaklaseng DEAF. lalaki. tae. ang cute sana, deaf nga lang. tsk. ok lang din naman. all of them were BS PSYCHOLOGY SOPHOMORES e. ako lang ang natatangi at kaisa-isang BS EPM JUNIOR student. o di ba? ang lufet! haha. infareness a, ang cool ni miss wood. and ayan, si dianne tiosan nga, isang taga sienan ang klasmate ko! swertee!
>> after that, sumakit ang paa ko sa sapatos ko. langya, kasalanan ko bang magsuot ng heels ng unang araw ng klase. putek! walang patawad di ba? from MC to KFC, lakad lang ako wid my friend. tae. pagdating ko ng KFC, namula ang paa ko. ansakit.

JUNE 10, 2009 (Wednesday)
.. first class, miss fortez agad. as in ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH METHODS. unang sabak pa lang, inantok na. WTF talaga. ang masama dito, imbes na 7:30 ang start, naging 8:30 pa. kakaloka! aww. so, from next week, 8:30-11:30 ang klase ko. ang masama pa dito, imbes na 10:30-3:00 ang break ko, naging 11:30-3:00. so, 3 hours and a half na lang. makakauwi pa ako.
.. break time. well, umuwi ng bahay para kumain ng lunch. buti na lang nadala ko ang payong ko. dat time kasi paambon na. right after i ate, nagligpit ako ng mga gamit. and den, by 1:15, alis na ako para kunin ang new uniform ko.
.. last class. aba, si sir Puz pa. amp talaga. ganon pa ren ang pagmumukha. haha!
he told me that ako na lang ang BUKOD TANGING CORPORATE MAJOR ng EPM. dagdag lang, magisip daw ako kung magshi-shift ako ng track or whatever. ang naiisip ko lang nun is that, i will take up muna lahat ng MINORS na naiwan ko, including PE and RIZAL and yung naiwan ko pang MAJOR entitled, “Solid Waste Management”. right after that, naisip ko na den na magSHIFT from EPM to BIOLOGY. know why? i dont like URBAN PLANNING and GREEN ARCHITECTURE. sa totoo lang, ayokong maging arkee. if he will force me to do that thing, all i have to do is to say GOODBYE to EPM and shift to BIO. ayokong lumipat ng arkee.
JUNE 11, 2009 (Thursday) — Start of Regular Classes
_ aysus ginoo! haha! ayun! start na ng regular classes for TTh classes. ambilis na ng mga pangyayari. first stop, we had our class nga. hahaha! may sustainable energy topic pa nga on d first subject e. ang galing. parang tanga lang akong nakatunganga habang nakikinig sa prof.
_second subject! argh! nkalimutan kong magdala ng calcu! amf! buti na lang pwede ang cp! haha. kakainis nga e! buti na lang lumipat kami ng rum! from one big room to the other room!
_third subject! haha! ayun. nasa lab. and take note! nasa harapan talaga kami. haha. nakakaloka. buti na lang hindi niya ako nahuhuling matulog sa lab. haha.

JUNE 13, 2009 (Saturday)
= back to MC again! and by this time, first class namin, nasa EPM Lab kami. finally, we are on an airconditioned room! shocks! an lameeg! para akong nasa ref sa sobrang lamig. but then again, swerte ko because nakapagdala ako ng jacket! after that, 2 hours break. from 9:30-11:30. nagaantay kami for the next class.
= haha. nabigla sila nung nalaman nila na ang prof namin sa cost management ay yung parang clone ni sir Puz. hahaha! ako, wala na akong pakialam if sino man siya. ang important, mapasukan ko lang ang subject niya. wish ko lang, wag sanang puro ECONOMICS ang tatargetin niya! maawa naman siya. ayoko nang maging tamad by this sem! hahaha.
